Scent is memory, bottled before it fades.
SILLAGE was founded on a simple experiment. We asked one perfumer to rebuild the smells we most often fail to describe: a forest after rain, salt air before a storm, the last hour of a good evening. Every bottle in the collection is an answer to that question.
Made slowly, on purpose.
Naturals are bought from growers we have worked with for years, then extracted in small batches. Nothing in the collection is produced against a deadline. A composition leaves the studio only when the perfumer stops tinkering with it, which is almost always later than the calendar wanted.
Bottles are filled by hand, labeled, and wrapped in Paris. Every batch is numbered, and we can tell you the harvest year of the main natural in any bottle you own.
We also test everything on the body we know best: ours. No scent ships until it has survived a full day of wear, a second skin test, and the judgment of a stranger asked to guess the story.
